Keep track of how many products you have left in stock with the Shopbox inventory module.
Inventory
Managing your inventory should be simple and intuitive, which is why we’ve developed an easy-to-use inventory module that allows you to efficiently manage your stock.
This straightforward solution helps you keep track of the products in your inventory and know when it’s time to reorder.
Once your products are created, they are automatically added to your inventory module.
Add and Remove Items
You can easily add or remove items from your inventory using the “+” and “-” buttons next to the specific product you want to adjust.
Add an Item:
- Go to the Inventory Module.
- Click the “+” button next to the product you want to add.
- Enter the number of items you want to register in your inventory.
- Click “Add”.
Remove an Item:
- Go to the Inventory Module.
- Click the “-” button next to the product you want to remove an item from.
- Enter the number of items you are removing.
- Provide a reason for the adjustment.
- Click “Remove”.
Variants
You can also add or remove quantities for product variants by enabling them in your inventory.
To manage variants:
- Go to the Inventory Module.
- Locate the specific product that has variants.
- “Swipe green” next to the product under “Variant Quantity”.
- Add or remove quantities for the variants in the same way as for regular items (see above under “Add and Remove Items”).
Stock Settings
Shopbox can help you monitor your inventory levels. You can set the system to email you when stock levels are low, so you know when to reorder.
To enable low-stock alerts:
- Click the “pencil” icon on the right side of the product you want to monitor.
- Under “Min. Stock Warning,” enter the desired minimum quantity.
- Click “Confirm”.
The system will now notify you via email when the minimum stock level for a specific product is reached.
Adjust Inventory
If you need to make changes to your inventory, you can do so easily in the inventory module:
- Go to the Inventory Module.
- Find the specific product you want to update.
- Enter the correct stock quantity.
- Provide a reason for the adjustment.
- Click “Confirm”.
Inventory History
You can view a detailed history of changes made to your inventory for each product, including additions, removals, and reasons.
To access the inventory history:
- Go to the Inventory Module.
- Locate the specific product for which you want to see the history.
- Click the “clock” icon on the right side of the desired product.
You can now see the full history for the product, including additions, removals, and reasons.
