We’re excited to share the latest updates to Shopbox! We have just release the new POS version 2.5.9
Enhanced product detail view
You can now long-press any product tile in the POS to access a more detailed view, including:
- SKU code for quick reference
- All available product variants (e.g. sizes, colors)
- Modifiers and their conditions
- A clearer inventory overview
This helps staff make faster, more informed decisions—boosting upselling and reducing order errors.
Improved search bar experience
The search bar has been optimized to make it easier to use—especially during busy hours:
- It remains visible and accessible even when the keyboard is collapsed
- Bottom navigation stays in place for easier access to categories and quick actions
- The familiar full-width expansion when typing is retained
These changes make it quicker and more intuitive to find products at checkout.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Dine-in appeared on the kitchen print instead of To-go, even when the order was marked as takeaway.
- Fixed an issue where a transaction was marked as “Completed” in the POS without the terminal actually processing the payment.
