Set up your MC-3 Printer using Bluetooth

Guide for setting up your MC-3 Printer with Bluetooth.

Remove rear cover

Connect to power supply 

1. Securely plug the power cord (for the AC adapter) fully into the AC adapter
2. Plug the AC adapter in the correct vertical orientation into the power connector of the printer

Insert power cable plug into electrical outlet.

Connect the cashdrawer 

Connect with bluetooth

Open the setting screen of the tablet and select Bluetooth.

Select the desired device name (mC-Print3-XXXXX).

If the device name was changed, then select the device name that it was changed to.

When connection is completed, "Connected" will be displayed next to the device name.

Connect in printer in Shopbox

1. Open the Shopbox POS app.
2. Click on the printer icon at the top of the screen.
3. Choose the printer group you want to connect a printer to.
4. Make sure “auto detect” is turned on.
5. Press “UPDATE PRINTER LIST”.
6. Click the “select printer” bar in the middle of the screen.
7. Choose the printer you want to connect to.
8. To confirm the connection, press “TEST PRINT”.
9. The printer should now print a small slip which states “I AM WORKING”.

Nice to know

1. If you want the printer to print a receipt after every transaction, and you do not want to press print yourself, activate “Print receipt after every transaction”.
2. If you have a scanner connected to the printer, and you want to use it with the Shopbox POS app, activate “Scanner connected through printer”..
