December 2025 – Shopbox POS 2.7.1 

This update tightens up table workflows, printing, and the mobile experience, removing several everyday friction points. Here’s the overview.

Summary

This version improves stability across Shopbox POS, Mobile, and the Weorder integration. You get more reliable printing, fewer issues in table workflows, and a smoother experience on smaller screens where the keyboard and UI could previously get in the way. In addition, several edge cases related to VAT, favorites, inventory lists, and receipt printing have been fixed, so you can run daily operations with fewer interruptions.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed incorrect handling of signature based transactions on NETS Viking.
  • Fixed lock screen and Change PIN being cropped by enabling scrolling.
  • Fixed Weorder and Shopbox table names with text values printing as 0 on kitchen and order receipts.
  • Resolved printing failures related to Weorder orders.
  • Fixed being unable to select a category when creating a product from the POS while using a custom filter.
  • Fixed the error “Sorry, someone won the race” when moving items to a table on mobile.
  • Fixed table editor changes not being saved correctly.
  • Fixed product rearrangement not being persisted after counter reload.
  • Fixed the on screen keyboard overlapping input fields on in house orders and transaction confirmation screens.
  • Fixed corrupted add on modifier UI on small iPad screens.
  • Fixed the POS product form remaining open after product deletion by properly closing the WebView.
  • Fixed newly created favorite products not appearing in POS until counter reload.
  • Removed the 100 item limitation in the Inventory product list on N950 terminals.
  • Fixed the on screen keyboard overlapping the note field when saving a parked order.
  • Ensured the “Sold Out” label is consistently displayed on product cards across all registers.
  • Fixed change amount not printing on receipts when using mPOP printers.
  • Fixed saved order names being lost when adding items and saving orders again.
  • Fixed Weorder menu tax printing as 0 when paying with menu based tax configuration.
  • Fixed tables reverting to default placement when creating multiple tables without saving first.
