Bug Fixes 

Payments & Card Terminals

  • On the LANDI C20 (Android) with NETS Cloud, losing network mid-payment failed the card transaction immediately, so payments completed on the terminal were missing from the register and transaction log (unlike iPad, which recovers). The C20 now recovers the transaction result once the network is restored.

Transactions, Basket & VAT

  • Modifier VAT stopped following the main product's VAT and was applied separately, producing incorrect VAT on sales. Modifier VAT now follows the main product's VAT again.
    • Improvement we did to fix the bug above: Old Self Service (Restaurant & Take Away) now requires customers to choose "Dine In" or "To Go" immediately after the Start page, before browsing products, so the correct VAT rate is applied at checkout.
  • In split payment, sending the app to the background after paying one part restored the full order to the table instead of keeping only the unpaid remainder. The table now correctly retains only the unpaid amount.
  • The order-hash repeated across different split-payment iterations, making split payments hard to trace. Order-hashes are now unique per split-payment iteration.

Restaurant — Tables, Courses & Takeaway

  • The table log took very long to load on first open after app start, and closing it mid-load left the whole table overview grey with no statuses. Initial load is now fast, and aborting no longer leaves tables statusless.
  • Adding items to an already-sent course reprinted the entire course to the kitchen, not just the new items. Only newly added items are now sent to the kitchen.
  • ASAP takeaway orders within the 30-minute window required a second, redundant acceptance confirmation. The extra confirmation has been removed. Self-Service & Self-Checkout
  • The self-checkout initial product/category list did not follow the configured category ordering. Self-checkout now respects the configured order.
  • Favorites stopped appearing at the top of the self-service checkout home screen after the v2.7.1 update. Favorites are displayed on the self-service home screen again.
  • In Self Service, the "Add discount code" flow showed merchant-facing loyalty text ("Redeem loyaltycard" and related copy) that didn't make sense to end customers. This customer-facing text has been corrected.

Products, Favorites, Inventory & Sorting

  • Admin users with inventory active on their subscription could not open inventory management when editing a product on POS. Admin users can now access product inventory management.
  • POS Inventory (Lager) search did not return product variants when searching by SKU root or full variant SKU. Variant search now returns matching products.
  • Reordering products in a category on POS failed to save (NoSuchMethodError: compareTo on null), so the new order was lost. Product reordering now saves correctly.
  • Editing a product directly from the Favorites page and saving pushed it to the bottom of the list until a manual refresh. Products now keep their position after editing from Favorites.
  • Products priced at 0 DKK with modifiers did not appear under "Add favorites" on POS. They now appear and can be added as favorites.
  • When reordering products on POS, dragging a product swapped it with the target instead of inserting it at the new position (unlike Backoffice). Sorting now inserts at the dropped position.

POS UI, Login & Display

  • The cashier screen was shown on the customer-facing display on the C20. The customer display now shows the correct customer-facing screen.
  • During end-of-day (Dagsafslutning), tapping "Fortsæt" after sync could turn the screen blank/white and freeze, blocking completion. The screen now proceeds normally.
  • In the mobile POS long-press product menu in portrait mode, the layout and text wrapping were broken (product image halved, misaligned text). The menu now displays correctly in portrait. Cash Management & Day Operations
  • The previous evening's registered cash balance was not suggested as the morning cash balance when starting the day. It is now suggested at day start.

Scanning & Customer Data

  • Scanning an RCN-13 price-embedded barcode (prefix 20) whose SKU started with 3 wrongly triggered a "Return label not found" error instead of finding the product. These barcodes now resolve to the product and add it to the basket.
  • New Norwegian customers defaulted to the +45 country code instead of +47, requiring a manual change each time. The default is now +47 for Norwegian customers.
