February 2026: Shopbox POS 2.10.0

This update speeds up checkout in high pace environments, ensures more accurate historical calculations when menus change, and fixes issues across currency, receipts, scanning, and devices.

Improvements

  • Skip modifier selection for faster checkout

    A new setting lets you skip modifier selection when adding items to the basket. Fewer taps when speed matters.

  • More accurate historical calculations after menu changes

    Menu items and their associated percentages are now sent to the backend, keeping historical calculations accurate even after menu updates.

  • New room selection design on small devices

    Room selection has a new design on small screens like mobile and hand held devices, improving speed and usability.

  • 9.7” iPad: cropped view in CCA

    Fixed an issue where the view could appear cropped on 9.7” iPads.

 

Bug fixes

Products and setup

  • Norway: Takeaway Price and Takeaway Tax are visible again in product create and edit in POS

  • Basket three dot menu works again even when iPad text size is increased

Currency, reports, and receipts

  • View Cashier Reports now shows the correct base currency

  • Change in local currency was hardcoded as DKK in some cases and is now corrected

  • Fixed layout issues on small receipts in foreign currencies

VAT and calculations

  • Corrected VAT calculation errors on receipts

  • Erase now clears Received correctly and Change is recalculated correctly

Scanning

  • Opticon: barcode scanning works again for alphanumeric codes with special characters

Weorder

  • Floor number is back on printed kitchen receipts for delivery orders

Staff and users

  • Fixed a crash reload issue that could prevent creating new users or accessing the Staff menu

Kiosk

  • Dine In and To Go are no longer shown when kiosk mode is configured

 

Device specific bug fixes

Poynt N950 hand held

  • Cancellation and refunds work again from counter transactions

  • Receipt template mismatch fixed on N950 and S1F2, 57 mm now prints correctly

  • Camera opens again from Expenses on N950

  • Restored the 0 button when adding products with unit pricing

Landi C20

  • Fixed temporary counter mirroring on the customer display and unintended Softpay launch

Windows

  • Fixed an issue where the first product scan could fail on Windows devices
