What happens once the setup is completed?
Nothing happens automatically when the setup is finished.
If you want to start product synchronisation, you must go into WordPress Backoffice and click Export products.
See how to do it here.
When will WooCommerce synchronise my products for the first time?
This only happens when you go into WordPress Backoffice and click Export products.
See how to do it here.
What should I do with my existing products?
Do you already have products created in Shopbox that will also be created during the webshop synchronisation?
The integration cannot use products that were not created through it.
Therefore, you must archive those products before you begin.
Also be aware of your existing categories versus the categories that are transferred from your webshop.
If categories in Shopbox share the same name as categories in WooCommerce, the transfer will fail, and those categories – and the products inside them – will not be imported.
See how to archive products and categories here.
Can the revenue from my webshop be registered in my accounting system?
If your integration setup includes sending webshop sales into Shopbox, it will appear as revenue on your daily settlement.
If you are unsure, you can review the setup guide here.
The revenue will then be transferred to your connected accounting system.
If you have not yet integrated your accounting system, you can find our list of supported accounting integrations here.
Can Shopbox handle click & collect orders from my webshop?
No. The integration does not support:
- Taking payment for webshop orders in Shopbox
- Showing click & collect orders that need to be prepared for pickup
However, orders will still be registered in Shopbox as revenue once they are paid.
