May 2026: Shopbox POS 2.11.0

In this version, we have improved the stability of Shopbox POS, especially in unstable network conditions, and fixed several issues related to payments, table management, Weorder, self-service and end-of-day settlement.

Improvements

  • More stable POS on unstable network

    • Shopbox POS now responds better when the internet connection is poor or unstable. This means fewer interruptions and a more stable experience during busy periods.

  • Better overview during end-of-day settlement

    • We have added a new check to the end-of-day settlement, which shows if there are still open tables that need to be handled before the day can be closed. This makes it easier to find and resolve what is blocking the end-of-day settlement.

Bug fixes

  • Payments and refunds

    • We have fixed several issues related to payments, split payments and refunds. This gives a more stable payment experience and more accurate amounts for split payments, foreign currency and Nets Cloud payments.

  • Weorder dine-in and table overview

    • Weorder dine-in orders are now displayed more correctly in the table overview. This applies to new tables, unused tables and tables that already have an order.

  • Self-service and scanning

    • We have fixed issues in self-service and scanning, so scanned items are registered more reliably and shown correctly in the basket.

  • Correct VAT on takeaway in Norway

    • We have fixed issues where takeaway orders could in some cases get incorrect VAT. This helps ensure more accurate VAT reporting for Norwegian customers.

  • Offline login with PIN code

    • Login with PIN code now works better when the POS is offline. If there is already a saved session, the user can log in with a PIN code as expected.

  • Reports and receipts

    • We have fixed issues in X/Z reports and card receipts, so amounts and payment breakdowns are displayed and printed more accurately.

  • Table management

    • We have fixed several issues in table management, so items on tables do not disappear, appear duplicated or block end-of-day settlement unnecessarily.

  • Kitchen receipts

    • Table orders now show the correct table number on kitchen receipts instead of being shown as “To Go”.

Important

To get the fixes, Shopbox POS must be updated to version 2.11.0.

After updating, it may be necessary to restart the app several times, typically 3 to 4 times, before all fixes are fully applied.
