May 2026: Shopbox POS 2.11.4

In this version, we have improved the stability of POS and fixed several issues, especially related to table management, split payments, end of day, printing, gift cards, inventory and Landi devices.

Improvements

  • Updated language selection in POS

    • Icelandic has been removed from the language list in Shopbox POS, as Shopbox is not active in Iceland.

Bug fixes

  • Table management and end of day

    • We have fixed several issues related to tables and end of day. This means that table items no longer disappear after split payments, empty tables are no longer shown as open in the end of day flow, and items on tables are no longer lost or duplicated during the day.

    • We have also fixed an issue where overlapping end of day periods could cause an incorrect starting cash amount to be carried over from the previous day.

  • Payment and order flow

    • We have fixed an issue where extra items were not sent correctly to the kitchen after payment. They are now handled and printed as “Extras”.

    • In addition, it is now possible again to add products with variants after tapping “Add more” in the phone order flow.

  • Printing and kitchen tickets

    • We have fixed issues that could cause kitchen tickets to print twice, including when paying by invoice and in general print flows related to Firebase.

    • We have also fixed an issue where “COPI” was missing on printed receipts from Android terminals.

  • Gift cards

    • Gift card printouts now show the “From – To” field again. In addition, the validation of custom gift card codes has been fixed, so codes shorter than 8 characters can now be used correctly.

  • Products, inventory and barcodes

    • It is now possible again to add inventory when creating a product directly in POS.

    • We have also improved the handling of barcodes on variants. POS can now show and select between variants across products when the same barcode is used in multiple places.

  • Settings and data integrity

    • The “External reference field required” setting is now enforced correctly in POS.

    • Cash movement sync has been temporarily rolled back. Cash movements will continue to be saved locally to ensure data integrity for existing customers until a full migration plan is ready.

  • Stability and Landi devices

    • We have fixed a stability issue where popups would briefly open and then close automatically.

    • On Landi C20, product image upload and camera functionality have been restored. We have also fixed an issue where the customer display showed DKK instead of NOK.

    • In addition, we have made a fix for Landi terminals where POS could in some cases show an offline status, even though the internet connection was stable.
