March 2026: Shopbox POS 2.10.1

This update makes the order overview more useful during busy hours, improves the flow around gift cards and receipts, and includes a range of fixes across tables, printing, payments, devices, and product data.

Improvements

  • Filter orders by order type in Order Overview

    Order type filters have now been added to Order Overview, making it easier for staff to focus on dine in, takeaway, or delivery orders. This helps create better overview when several order types are active at the same time.

  • Table name is now shown directly in Order Overview

    We now display the table name directly in the order overview. This makes it easier to identify active tables and act faster during service.

  • Clearer and more consistent gift card flow

    The gift card experience has been updated to make the flow clearer and more consistent for both staff and customers.

  • Faster delivery of language updates

    We have improved how translations are handled, so language updates can now be delivered faster without requiring a full app release.

  • Intercom messages are hidden in self service mode

    Intercom messages are now blocked in self service mode, so customers only see relevant content on kiosks and self service screens.

  • Diller details are now added automatically to receipts

    After payment, receipt fields are now automatically filled with customer details from Diller. This speeds up checkout and reduces manual typing.

 

Bug fixes

  • Tables and order overview

    • We fixed an issue that could corrupt the tables view, so table layouts now display more reliably.

  • Products and availability

    • Synchronization of sold out products has been improved, so sold out status now updates in real time across all devices in the same branch.

    • We also fixed an issue where sold out products could reset on refresh. Product availability now remains accurate.

    • VIP product search has been improved, so search results are now faster and more accurate.

  • Gift cards and customer details

    • It is no longer possible to register negative quantities or prices when topping up gift cards, so all values remain valid.

    • Diller customer details are now always saved on transactions, even when no coupon is redeemed.

  • Payments and transactions

    • We fixed issues related to cancelling Nexi POS transactions from the POS, so cancellations now behave more reliably.

    • Errors on takeaway kitchen prints for invoice payments have been resolved, so takeaway orders now print correctly.

    • Signature transactions with NETS Viking now follow the correct flow.

  • Printing and printers

    • Printer logs are now handled correctly, so they no longer build up and affect printing stability.

    • Connected Bluetooth printers now appear immediately on first login.

    • Printing on Windows in Flutter 2.6.0 now works as expected again.

  • Stability and performance

    • Performance on integrated N950 devices has been optimized to reduce latency and improve responsiveness.

    • We fixed a crash that could occur when switching in and out of the app, improving overall app stability.

    • The Windows integration with DSB SafePay has also been improved, making cash handling flows more stable and reliable.

  • Rooms and screen layout

    • The layout when editing rooms on smaller screens has been adjusted, so all background options are now fully visible.

  • Receipts and scanning

    • Receipt scanning on N950 and M20 from the transaction list now opens only the relevant transaction.

  • End of Day

    • The End of Day reminder has been restored, so users are once again prompted when 24 hours have passed since the last EOD.
