October 2026: New in Weorder

Age verification with MitID

Weorder restaurants in Denmark can now sell alcohol online. When a customer orders a product that contains alcohol, they're asked to verify their age with MitID at checkout before they can place the order. Once verified, they're sent straight back to finish their order.

This keeps our Danish restaurants compliant with the legal requirement for online alcohol sales, without any manual ID checks at pickup.

Customers who can't verify their age can still order by removing the alcohol from their basket.
