Improvements

  • The Android POS now records cash drawer open and close events from STAR printer-connected drawers. This brings Android in line with iOS for Danish SAF-T compliance.
  • POS mobile enhancements: Every POS release is now checked for missing Danish, Swedish and Norwegian translations, so cashiers no longer see English or blank labels.

Bug Fixes

  • On N950 Poynt, the Print X-bon button during End of Day either showed an error or did nothing. The X-bon now prints from every page in the EOD flow.
  • Card surcharges taken on N950 Poynt terminals showed as 0 DKK on the EOD report. Surcharges are now recorded correctly.
  • On N950 terminals, EOD card type categories didn’t match the Nets transaction list (for example, Mastercard shown as Maestro). Card types now match Nets, so reconciliation lines up.
  • On some Landi devices, the customer display mirrored the staff POS screen instead of showing the customer view, even after app and OS updates. The customer display now shows the customer view.
  • Digital receipts were sometimes not sent from the POS after a customer asked for one, so receipts had to be found and resent by hand. Receipts are now sent reliably.
  • Scanning a loyalty punch card from the POS screen, with the iPad camera or an OPC scanner, failed to find the card. Punch cards are now found when scanned from the POS screen.
  • Gift card printouts on Star mPOP (57 mm paper) were blurry because an 80 mm layout was scaled down. They now print clearly on 57 mm paper.
  • On mobile terminals (Poynt N950, Landi M20), the external reference and notes fields didn’t appear for custom-price products. If the reference was required, the sale couldn’t be completed. Both fields now appear.
  • An invalid FlatPay GUID didn’t show an error, so a failed terminal connection was hard to diagnose. An error is now shown.
