Setting up the customer screen on Landi C20 Pro

Step by step guide to activating and customising the customer screen in MyShopbox

What is Landi C20 Pro?

The Landi C20 Pro device has a built-in customer-facing display on the Shopbox POS terminal. The screen automatically shows relevant information throughout the sale such as idle marketing images, basket overview, payment instructions and the final purchase confirmation.

All visual elements on the customer screen are configured directly in the Shopbox Backoffice, MyShopbox.

The customer-facing screen makes checkout more transparent, creates upsell opportunities with visual content and clearly guides the customer through payment. It increases trust, reduces errors and gives the store a more professional and welcoming checkout experience.

How it works (step by step)

Accessing the feature

You set up the customer screen in the Shopbox Backoffice, MyShopbox.

Go to Store settings in the menu on the left and select the Customer Screen tab at the top of the page.

Using the feature

Set up the idle screen

The idle screen is what the customer sees when there is no active sale.

Step 1: Choose the layout for the idle screen

There are three layout types:

  • Fullscreen view

    Shows one image that fills the entire screen. image-20251125-103641

  • 1:2 Grid view

    Shows three images in a grid. image-20251125-103753

  • Slide view

    Shows two or more images that change automatically. image-20251125-103929

Step 2: Upload images

Click Add image to upload from your computer.

  • Supported formats: .jpeg, .jpg, .png
  • Maximum file size: 2 MB per image

Step 3: Remove images

If you want to replace or delete an image in the selected layout:

  • Click the Remove button (trash bin icon) in the bottom right corner of the image.

  • Upload a new image or leave the slot empty depending on the layout.

Note:

  • Fullscreen view requires one image.

  • 1:2 Grid view requires three images.

  • Slide view requires two or more images.

Step 4: Enable the screen on POS

Turn on Enable view on POS and choose whether Fullscreen, 1:2 Grid or Slide view should be the active idle screen on the Landi C20 Pro device.

Basket and payment view

These views appear automatically when a sale starts.

  • The basket is shown in real time as items are added.

  • When Softpay is used, the screen switches to show payment instructions from Softpay.

Set up the message after the sale

This screen is shown when the purchase has been completed.

Step 1: Customise the message

Click Add a message to write a personal thank you message or important information for the customer.

Step 2: Choose background colour

Click Background color to select a background colour that matches your brand. image-20251125-104436

Save the configuration

Click Save configuration to save your changes in MyShopbox.

Then update the POS settings on the Landi C20 Pro device so the new configuration is shown on the customer screen.
