Split payment in Shopbox

 In Shopbox, you can easily split a bill between multiple guests.
 There are two ways to split the payment: 

  1. Equal split: The bill is divided into equal amounts
  2. Split by product: Each guest pays for selected items 

 How to use Split payment 

  1. Add the items to the basket as usual.
  2. Tap “More payment methods” in the bottom-right corner.
    This is the icon with four squares.
  3. Select “Split payment”.

 Method 1: Split the bill equally 

Use this method when the guests want to pay the same amount.

Example

The bill includes:

  • 4 menues
  • 1 bottle of wine

 The guests want to split the bill equally, so each person pays for: 

  • 1 menu
  • ¼ of the bottle of wine

 How to do it:

  1. Select “Split payment”.
  2. Select the number of people on the left-hand side, for example 4.
  3. The system automatically divides the items equally.
    1. The middle section shows the items that have not yet been paid for.
    2. The right-hand side shows the portion that is ready for payment.
  4. Accept the payment using the preferred payment method.
  5. Repeat the process until all guests have paid.

 Method 2: Split the payment by product 

Use this method when the guests are not paying the same amount.

Example
  • One guest wants to pay for one menu and the entire bottle of wine.

  • The other guests only pay for their own menus.

How to do it:

  1. Select “Split payment”.
  2. Tap the items the first guest wants to pay for, for example one menu, the wine and one menu.
  3. The items move to the right-hand side.
  4. Accept the payment.
  5. Repeat the process for the remaining guests.
