What happens once the setup is completed?

When the setup is finished, Shopify will automatically start the first product import.
How long it takes depends on the size of your product catalogue.

When will Shopify synchronise my products for the first time?

Your products are synchronised immediately after the integration setup is completed.

What should I do with my existing products?

Do you already have products created in Shopbox, which will also be created as part of the webshop synchronisation?

The integration cannot use products that were not created through it.
Therefore, you need to archive the existing products before you begin.

Pay attention to your existing categories versus the ones transferred from your webshop.

If categories in Shopbox share the same name as categories in Shopify, the transfer will fail, and those categories will not be imported.
Products in those categories will also not be imported.

How is the revenue from my webshop registered in my accounting system?

If you allowed webshop sales to be transferred to Shopbox during the setup, they will appear as revenue on your daily settlement.

After that, the sales will be transferred to your integrated accounting system.

Can Shopbox handle click and collect orders from my webshop?

No. The integration does not support taking payment for webshop orders inside Shopbox or showing click and collect orders waiting to be prepared.

However, webshop orders – like all other webshop orders – will still be transferred into Shopbox as revenue once they are paid.
