Can I prevent Shopbox from updating the inventory in Shopify?

Yes. It is entirely up to you whether the  inventory should be updated when a sale is made.

Can I have multiple inventory locations?

Yes. You can match your Shopbox departments with your locations in Shopify.

Why is my inventory in Shopify not updated when items are sold in Shopbox?

There can be several reasons:

  • Is the inventory synchronisation enabled? See how in our setup guide here.
  • Does the Shopbox app have the correct permissions in Shopify?
  • Check whether the product has been imported from your webshop. For example, compare the SKU code in Shopbox with the one in the webshop.
  • Is the Shopbox app updated to the latest version? You can see how to update the app here.

I updated my stock in Shopbox, but it is not updated in my webshop

The integration does not update the inventory if the change is a manual adjustment.
This applies in both Shopbox and Shopify. The inventory is only updated automatically when sales occur.

If a manual adjustment has been made, you need to start a manual product synchronisation.
